Join the Lords of Gyrne!

To join a Lords of Gyrne game, you can either register for a demo or free game if they are available, or you can join a regular game. To join a regular game you will need a customer account and customer password with us. See below on how to get a customer account. New customers get 5 turns for free!

Demo games are free and open to everyone. To register for a demo game just find a demo game open for registration on the list and follow the 'register' link below the game name.

To meet other Lords of Gyrne players directly, go to the Imperial Council by clicking on 'Archive' above and then choosing 'Imperial Council', or get there directly by clicking here.

We also recommend to join the Lords of Gyrne mailing lists, which form the backbone of the Gyrne gaming community. There are three mailing lists for Lords of Gyrne, each for a different purpose, which are kindly hosted at Yahoo:

• The Gyrne Announcements list is a receive-only list via which we announce game news and improvements. To join this list, go to:

  and click on "Join this group" to enter your email address. You might have to become a member of Yahoo first.
• The Gyrne-Meta list is a discussion and question list on the game in general, for the out-of-game debate of rules and game problems you might find. To join this list, go to:

  and click on "Join this group" to enter your email address. You might have to become a member of Yahoo first.
• The Gyrne-Chat list is an open mailing list for all players to talk about their specific games. To join this list, go to:

  and click on "Join this group" to enter your email address. You might have to become a member of Yahoo first.

What follows is a list of all current Gyrne games.
"Open Games" are Games open to player registration. "Open Games" are either "Free", "Demo" or "Regular". "Demo games" are free try-out games limisted to a number of turns. "Free games" are rarely available, and meant for testing purposes. "Regular games" are open to anyone with a customer account and customer password, unless the game has been registered as private, in which case you will need to know an additional password to join.
"Running Games" are games currently in progress. Registration for these games is no longer possible.
"Recently Ended Games" are games which have come to an end in the past.

The links below a game's name allow you to register with, de-register from or request a turn result copy from that particular game.
Click on "Register" to register for the game. For a regular game you will need your customer password and customer number.
Click on "De-Register" to delete your registration for that particular game. This will work only if you have previously registered for this game and have your registration data (password etc.) at hand.
Click on "Turn Result Copy" to receive a particular turn result mail at an alternate email address. Please give the server some time to handle your request. It might take a while (up to 2 hours) to comply with your request.
Finally, clicking on "Add New Open Game" will allow you to create a new regular game open to registration. Note that you can only do this if you have a valid non-empty customer account. Demo and Free Games can only be created by the Server Administrator.

Games begin once the server finds that the start date has passed and the minimum number of players has been reached.

Note: To join a regular game you will need a customer account entry in our database. Just send us an email to help@gyrne.de with the subject line "Gyrne 3.1" and your full name, address, phone and email, and we will enter you into the database. You will then receive an email with your customer account number and password to register for a game. Your new customer account will contain 5 free game turns with which you can start registering and playing; if after 5 turns you decide you want to stay in the game, we will ask you to donate 50 cents (Euro or US) per game turn.

This information will not be handed out to anyone else, and is purely for our own needs. You will not receive any other mails from us than the customer account email, and we will not give this information to anyone else.
